Here at Alert Metal Works, Inc., we are celebrating 70 years of precision sheet metal fabricating. Quality work and customer satisfaction have been the legacy of our fabrication shop throughout the years. 

Alert began as a small metal fabrication shop and textile repair business in 1951, under the management and ownership of Fred S McGee Sr. As the textile industry began to transition from cotton mills during the decades of the 1960s and 70s, Alert diversified to specializing in metal fabrication. 

The primary jobs we do at our fabrication shop is custom work, designed to blueprint specification, with products made from aluminum, stainless steel, hot and cold rolled metal, and steel tubing. 

Alert continues to serve the area with the excellent management and employee skills that come from decades of experienced workmanship.
