Here at Alert Metal Works, Inc., we are celebrating over 70 years of precision sheet metal fabricating. Quality work and customer satisfaction have been the legacy of our fabrication shop throughout the years. 

Alert began as a small metal fabrication shop and textile repair business in 1951, under the management and ownership of Fred S McGee Sr. As the textile industry began to transition from cotton mills during the decades of the 1960s and 70s, Alert diversified to specializing in Industrial metal fabrication. 

The parts we make at our fabrication shop range from custom work to parts built to customer’s blueprint specification. We make products from aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel sheet metal as well as pipe and tubing. 

Alert continues to serve the area with the excellent management and employee skills that come from decades of experienced workmanship.
